Upcoming WELCA Meetings & Events -

Attention ladies of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, you are already a member of WELCA and are ALWAYS WELCOME.  WELCA stands for Women of the Evangelical Church of America. We meet the second Monday of each month at the church at 10:00 am. (except in August). We have a time of sharing, a minute for reflection and prayer, followed by a business meeting. The highlight of our time together is FOOD. We have a potluck luncheon or go out to eat at a local restaurant. We plan many activities including an All God’s Daughter Banquet, Men’s and Boys’ Banquet, Election Day Bake Sale, Christmas Cookie Sale, Annual Quilting Day, and Lutheran World Relief Kits.

QUILTING

No experience necessary. 

We have a quilting group that meets the 4th Monday of each month (except August). We have a great time designing and assembling (cutting, sewing, ironing, and tying) quilts for the Linus Project, Baptismal Quilts and Prayer Quilts. We end our time of construction laughing with a  bag lunch about Noon.
