What We Believe

As an ELCA Congregation 

We are Christian.  We are members of the body of Christ.  We confess (believe) that Christ Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and it is through his life, death and resurrection that we see God most clearly.  We also believe this same God is triune in nature.

We are Lutheran.  Baptism and Holy Communion are central to our worship life.  We are part of the Evandelical Lutheran Church in America, and work with fellow Christians of other denominations.

We are a community of faith.  We believe that God calls his people together to experience God's grace and love in Christ, and that faith is meant to be shared.

We are church for the sake of the world.  We are called to be good stewards of our time, talent and treasure, to pray for all God's people, and to love all people as God loves them.  We believe that God calls us to care for this whole world because God loves the whole world.       (John 3:16)

We are a church grounded in biblical and Lutheran confessional sources.  Our values guide how we journey forward in
Christ as church together.
